Overall Satisfaction with Diligent HighBond

I use Diligent Highbond in conjunction with the ACL/Analytics exchange tool provided by Diligent Highbond. We also began using the robots tool in Diligent Highbond. We would use the ACL tool to pull in data and build in logic and then often send the output data to a container in Diligent Highbond for further review. This would allow us to have other teams review output for approvals, etc.
  • GRC Review
  • Python integration
  • Process flows
  • Overly complicated ACL coding
  • Bugs and quirks
  • Often runs slowly
  • GRC Reporting
  • ACL Analytics
  • Robots
  • Expensive tool
  • Helped identify risk
  • Became too hard and time consuming to use
Diligent Highbond stacks up somewhat poorly against our other tools. In addition to what was included above, we use some smaller tools that fulfill many of the gaps left by Diligent Highbond. We have since started to move away from Diligent Highbond. Alteryx is better at processing data and their server tool can be used to publish results for review.

Do you think Diligent One Platform delivers good value for the price?

No

No

Did Diligent One Platform live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Diligent One Platform again?

No

From my experience, It is very well suited as a GRC tool. It is fairly easy to push data into Diligent Highbond and set up permissions and approval flows for other colleges to review the records in question. Where it really falls short for me is the ease of use beyond doing that. Actually building out the data flow in the other Diligent tools is rough and makes using the solid GRC aspect not worth it.
