Overall Satisfaction with DonorPerfect
DonorPerfect is used by three primary users: the executive director, the fund development coordinator and the office administrator. It is used to manage our donor, grant, volunteer and board of director activities. It allows us to report on donations received by campaign or solicitations, different mailing lists, volunteer hours, grants and event planning. Having DonorPerfect allows us to maintain all these records in one central database, instead of having to manage several databases or spreadsheets. Also, having the online version allows our data to be saved and encrypted off site, which we are required by state to have.
- DonorPerfect is very user friendly, not complicated like other donor databases.
- DonorPerfect is customizable to what your organization's needs are, even after your initial setup with the company.
- The BEST support team I have ever worked with. I am in awe of the support team's knowledge of the product and their willingness and eagerness to help you and your organization to succeed.
- I would love to see DonorPerfet have a faster rate of fixing issues that might only affect some of their customers. I feel they concentrate (prioritize) on issues first that affect the customers system wide, then work on the smaller issues.
- Roll out apps for Android systems at the same time as the IOS systems.
- Having DonorPerfect has increased our staff and board of directors' capability of understanding trends of our donors. It has also given us the ability to learn more about our donors and driven us to get to know our donors better.
- We have been able to produce clear and precise reports in a faster way than our old way of reporting without a proper database. The variety of standard and customizable reports offered through DonorPerfect has helped the organization to see where their strengths and weaknesses are in types of solicitations, volunteer activities and event planning.
- The add-on features that are offered for DonorPerfect have helped our organization to save money and time efficiency. For example, being able to process credit cards in DonorPerfect saves so much time of having to process the transaction else where and then having to enter that data into a database, it's all done in one place. There is also Weblink Pro, where you can customize your own online donation form to use, and then have each transaction download right into the database, adding the gift to a donor already in the system or creating a new donor record.
There really is no comparison between Microsoft Access and DonorPerfect. Microsoft Access is not a donor database, and it is very hard to use and understand. Data can very easily be lost or overwritten in Microsoft Access and there is no customer support to help you when you're stuck and need assistance.
