Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Sign

Since I'm a solopreneur, I keep my software budget lean. Dropbox Sign (formerly HelloSign) is the one tool I've stuck with for client contracts since I started my business in 2016. It's so easy to use and have clients use as well. Why on earth in this day and age are people still emailing documents back and forth to each other? I have no idea, and I eliminated that hassle years ago with Dropbox Sign. I have also recommended it to many other friends like me, not just because they have a referral program, but because it's a fantastic tool.
  • Easy to use
  • Legally binding
  • Modern tool for a digital age
  • Nothing to add. Very happy with it.
  • Ease of use
  • Legally secure for both myself and clients
  • Affordable plan
  • I feel more professional.
  • I feel like it's a valuable solution to offer clients.
  • It will grow with me as my business grows.
It may seem like a strange competitor to add, but I still see people creating and sending contracts in Microsoft 365, sending them to clients, asking them to sign, scanning the document, and sending it back to them...where they have to do the same thing again for both signatures. This even happens for professionals more experienced than myself or with employees. This is such a waste of time and effort when you have affordable tools like Dropbox Sign.

For myself, I use it to send client contracts. I'm a marketing strategist and copywriter, so I'm ready to get to the contract stage, I create the contract in Word. Then I simply upload into Dropbox Sign, add my own signature and date, and send it over to the client to do the same. After it's been signed by both parties, we can each easily download a PDF of the contract for our own records. They do have a template feature that I have access to, but I've never used it and am happy with the way I do things right now.
