Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
Dynatrace is used in our testing environment to gain insights into our performance issues early on in the development cycle. It is solely used by the performance testing team currently, but will soon be changing to be leveraged by the rest of the development departments as well.
- Very user-friendly instrumentation and configuration of the monitoring infrastructure.
- Extensive support for the latest technologies.
- Code level visibility and easy to drill down from environment overviews.
- Technical support is quite good but could be improved on the expert level support which can take days before [an issue is] addressed.
- Support for auditing logs for Dynatrace monitoring environment changes.
- Some PurePaths for .NET applications are broken and it does not show full end to end transaction flows.
- Positive on the rate of delivery as the issues were identified early on and resolved before production.
- Product is satisfied with the insights we can provide in terms of application performance.
- The cost per hour on a production environment can be quite expensive.
They are good but have not yet advanced to the level of support DT is currently at.
