Exclaimer Cloud - Signatures for Office 365
Overall Satisfaction with Exclaimer
Exclaimer removes the signature problem. The trouble is, most people don't know the signature problem is removed until it is removed: the problems are, having to set the signature on a new computer, having to re-set it when it breaks, having to change it across multiple employees, preventing the signature from being manipulated, ensuring consistency... but largely, we implement it to reduce hassle.
It's such a low cost product, and a high value win. Across most of our customers we have just simply implemented it: told them they're taking it, told them they can refuse it but they're going to have it and that's that. And, typically, they love it!
As a managed service provider we also supply a signature design service to our clients, and invite them to do marketing and compliance through their signatures. We also do it ourselves, inviting people to sign up for our newsletter system by rotating banners under our email signatures. It's free marketing real estate.
- Reduces technical support questions regarding signatures
- Provides compliance of email signatures across the whole company
- Fixes the mobile-email-client-signature problem
- Setup can be a little clunky, but that's mostly M365's fault
- Reduces tech support enquiries about email signatures
- Reduces setup time of new employee workstations
- Reduces complexity when it comes to change the email signature
- Allows delegation of what is effectively a marketing task to the marketing team
We have used the template scheduling feature to set up seasonal email banners, for example to advertise Christmas holiday opening ours when appropriate to do so.
Exclaimer's security is not really visible, I guess we just have to accept that because nobody has hauled them over the coals yet, that they are doing a good job!
