Overall Satisfaction with Expensify
Expensify was being used organization-wide to track employee expenses. Our business, especially in the marketing department, required a lot of travel and last-minute expenses. Having a seamless expensing system was crucial. Expensify has an easy to use interface and made it really simple to import receipts by connecting your card.
Pros
- Great looking user interface that is responsive and state of the art.
- Clear instructions and flow for entering expenses and submitting expense reports.
- Easy to connect expense accounts and payment accounts.
Cons
- Expensify can do better about consolidating reporting. We had to implement a formal process for the users on how exactly to submit reports each month so that accounting could stay organized. Features should exist in the software to prevent this problem.
- The interface and login could sometimes be slow, but was usually not buggy.
- Expensify lowered the overall time it took to handle expense reporting and reimbursement.
- It provided an automated way for employees to submit receipts and generate expense reports, which decreased engagement time with accounting colleagues.
- The price wasn't too high given all the value it provided.
