Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

It’s being used by a subset of the Sales team. For what it does—record sales demos and provide searchable transcripts afterward—it’s pretty useful. It helps us provide insights in certain areas (e.g., I can search “pricing” across a sample of our sales calls and get the information I want on how our reps negotiate pricing with customers).
  • Simple UI: Very easy to navigate and find what I want.
  • Good Transcript quality: I am able to filter what I’m looking for to specific time stamps of specific conversations. I didn’t notice any major transcription errors.
  • Audio transcript of sales calls.
  • Decent ROI: Good value created in helping coach reps to become more productive, but it’s a pretty expensive solution.

You’ll need a strong Sales Enablement team or a sales manager with the time/capacity to actually go through all the data (transcript, video, insights, etc.) generated. The data itself is great and can be very useful, but humans will need to turn it into actionable feedback to inform rep coaching.
