We used Google Vault for compliance and Data Discovery solution in our organizations. This was used to retain official communications in Gmail. Privacy and data security is our topmost priority.
- Google Vault is very efficient to retain critical data.
- Can be used selectively on single accounts or even for a group.
- Easy data export
- Stores data of deleted users.
- Dashboard can have more data for effective usage.
- Doesn't support Google Calendar data.
- Ability to Create custom roles for Google Vault
- Ability to put critical data on-hold so it never gets deleted
- feature of advanced search filters to make it easier to dig the right data
- Audits are now more easier.
- Efficient data discovery helps in time saving.
- Helps in saving costs of on-premise storage and maintenance.
