Overall Satisfaction with GoToMeeting
GoToMeeting is used across our entire organization. It provides us a way to speak internally - we have consulting groups in Europe and Asia and we use GoToMeeting to share screens when it comes to reviewing documents or cases. It allows us to do things like this pretty easily and quickly.
Pros
- The screen share is great. We use it often; we find that it works better for us than Microsoft Lync.
- It allows us to keep track of who is in a conference call so there is no guesswork involved.
- The above separate GoToMeeting from other similar solutions; it is the one that we prefer.
Cons
- Honestly, I've never had an issue with GoToMeeting, in all of the time that I've used it. It loads quickly, the call quality is clear, and the screen sharing is awesome. Any issues that have come up when I'm using GoToMeeting were a result of technical issues on my side or on the side of the other person, not with GoToMeeting.
- We use it for more internal things, and occasionally external conversations, so the ROI isn't an issue with us.
Previously explained.
InterCall is very simple, in the sense that it is just a phone number and a conference call, which works with the merchant base that we consult with. Many of them do not feel comfortable clicking on a link to download something from a company that they are not familiar with.
