Overall Satisfaction with GoToWebinar
GoToWebinar is being used by the whole organization. In our role as leadership and organizational development consultants, there are instances where we making presentations or providing online training services more efficiently and effectively meets client needs. Curricula/training materials may be easily converted and incorporated into the GoToWebinar platform, and with the ability to have multiple "presenters," we are able to meet our goal of team teaching whenever possible. The multiple presenter/organizer roles also provide the teaching team the ability to support the current presenter during the session.
- It is easy to utilize PowerPoint on GoToWebinar. The GoToWebinar window remains functional but is not obtrusive. PowerPoint works as usual without glitches while GoToWebinar is running.
- Good invitation set-up for users and sign-up procedures for participants.
- Multi-presenter/organizer capacity is highly functional and easy to use.
- In debrief sessions among the presenters following use of GoToWebinar, the topic of missing functionality has not arisen. The initial familiarization/learning of the software was not sufficiently difficult to raise comments. The use of the product has not been questioned.
We have not used Blackboard as the originator but as participants. This was quite a while ago, and I found the collaborative features difficult to learn quickly, and thus more time was spent initially trying to use the program effectively. To be fair, we are using GoToWebinar primarily as a teaching and not collaborative working tool. However, when we do use it to collaboratively create a presentation, we find it efficient to discuss our ideas and leave the execution of presentation changes to one person to complete.
