Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Object Storage

The IBM Cloud Object Storage allows me to scale the services I provide into the cloud. The cloud has allowed me to secure my data by managing certain permissions to ensure that my data is managed in a need-to-know zero-trust environment, but it also allows me to conveniently share my data and services with those I want to send them to.
  • IBM's cloud dedicated hosting is particularly important for total isolation.
  • The VPN allows me to have maximum flexibility.
  • It improves the performance of my websites.
  • It is very cost effective and we pay only for what we need or more.
  • The IBM cloud object storage is very network based that it cannot achieve performance like hardware.
  • Extra space do cost more when you do become ready for that expansion.
  • Pulling big project data across cloud platforms slows performance.
  • IBM has the most additional software than any platform, which allows us to use many different tools for all of our needs.
  • It is very easy to run and has infinite capacity.
  • You can backup your data if you carry key critical information for your company.
The Cloud SQL query based on Apache Spark helps me to quickly analyze all of my data that resides in the IBM Cloud object storage. With the IBM Cloud Object Storage, access is very simple; we can access the information from any of our offices in the country, in addition to Search capabilities that allow us to access information more efficiently.
The IBM Cloud Object Storage is a one-of-a-kind fundamental solution for the transfer of file and directory
data to, from, and between cloud storage. It has built-in encryption and encryption at rest at AES 128 that secures data coming in and coming out. With secure authentication and access control, I can trust that my data is secure.
The tiers definitely help me figure out which type of class tiers I need for my organization. For example, I use the smart tier for my projects because it can be used for any workload, especially dynamic workloads where access patterns are unknown or difficult to predict. It provides a simplified pricing structure and automatic cost optimization by classifying the data into "hot", "cool", and "cold" tiers based on monthly usage patterns.

Did IBM Cloud Object Storage live up to sales and marketing promises?

Did implementation of IBM Cloud Object Storage go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy IBM Cloud Object Storage again?

Yes

Amazon S3 is a great service to safely back up your data where redundancy is guaranteed, and the cost is fair. In the past I have used Amazon S3 for data that we backup and hope we never need to access, but in the case of a catastrophic or even small slip of the finger with the delete command, we know our data and our client's data is safely backed up by Amazon S3. Amazon S3 service is a good option, but based on the features it provides compared with IBM Cloud Object Storage, it is less suitable. IBM Cloud Object Storage is also integrated with more services, like IBM Cloud SQL and IBM Aspera, which AWS does not provide to transfer files at maximum speed in the world.
  • IBM Cloud for VMware Solutions
IBM Cloud for VMware Solutions enables our organization to optimize the available on-premises tools, technologies, and skills by leveraging them with Clouds capabilities, improving compatibility, and increasing our agility. IBM Cloud for VMware Solutions is used in our organization for heavy workloads and critical applications and is also very helpful managing database management. IBM Cloud for VMware Solutions has hypervisor-level security at all levels that also protect our confidential data and manage our data in a proper way.
IBM's cloud object storage is very well-suited to be a database for big projects in big organizations. Important documents, files, images, or anything the organization needs to move to either make space or organize. The IBM cloud object storage is also well suited for this use, for it is very secure. The organization can rest assured that its data and files are safe within the IBM Cloud object storage.
