Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Sponsored Jobs

Our company utilizes Indeed Sponsored Jobs to fill our open job positions. This allows us to augment our workforce department so that we can stay on top of a variable load of projects. We use Indeed Sponsored Jobs to post all of our open job positions. Indeed Sponsored Jobs is the primary avenue for recruiting within our company here at Excel Engineering.
  • Easy integration with our ATS
  • Simple, easy to understand cost analytics
  • Job Market analysis at a glance
  • Indeed's job sponsorship UI is still rather clunky, can be confusing to navigate
  • Notification for conversation tracker end of life is irrelevant to me but cannot be removed
  • Actual costs associated with Indeed Sponsored Jobs do not seem to line up with the information displayed in its 'analytics' reporting
  • Overall I would say we have had a positive return on investment with Indeed Sponsored Jobs
  • We have been able to hire many positions we were looking to fill
  • Candidate quality is higher than with other job platforms we have used
Entry-level positions are positions we have found quality candidates for. It is tough to differentiate between the quality of entry-level candidates, especially graduates straight out of a 4-year university program. Overall, we did not receive many 'bogus' resumes, where candidates were clearly unqualified for the position they applied for. This helps Indeed Sponsored Jobs stand out.
No candidate sourcing experiences that stood out to me. One thing that I was apprehensive about at first was sponsoring jobs via contact with a client representative. However, after becoming accustomed to the process, it has been shown to be very valuable to be in constant contact with our Indeed representatives. They help to take the workload off of me and do a good job of utilizing the platform.
Indeed Sponsored Jobs definitely provides a large number of candidates as opposed to utilizing the program without any job sponsorship. It is relatively easy to use and helps provide information that I can use to further develop my job postings. I give it a 7/10 because it is a good platform with few drawbacks.
We have not used LinkedIn's sponsored job software, although it was something we considered. The nice part about Indeed, in comparison, is that we can set our own budget on individual job postings. Other job portal sites had flat rates. The variable sponsorship rate allows us to change allocations of our budget as it changes internally and as our hiring priorities ebb and flow. This also doesn't lock us completely out of the platform if we are not ready to invest a high dollar amount into the software.

Indeed Sponsored Jobs is well suited for hiring general job positions in a market that has a high ratio of applicants to available jobs. It has been easy to fill job applications for entry-level positions in particular as we get a lot of applications and have a good selection of candidates.

It is a challenge to recruit for very specialized roles. There is only so much detail we can easily provide via Indeed Sponsored Jobs. It seems that there is not a very large pool of highly skilled professionals on Indeed searching for jobs.
