Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
I am a small business, just a few employees. We do financial planning and investment management. I primarily use Insightly for CRM, tracking client communications, scheduling appointments, tracking notes on clients, and capturing e-mails.
- I like that Insightly is very simple and intuitive. It doesn't require a lot of experience, knowledge, or setup. Very easy navigation.
- Setting up new clients and recording data is very simple.
- It is great for capturing client e-mails and also works well with Google Calendar
- I would like to be able to record client birthdays so that it will remind me every year. There are "dates to remember" and custom fields, but neither one works well for reminding you each year about client birthdays. I like to run a report every month for all the client birthdays coming up, but you can't really do that with the way they are set up.
- It would be great to have the ability to customize the HOME screen to include widgets for different things you use regularly. For example, I would love to have my Calendar, my overdue and upcoming Tasks, and any open Projects or Opportunities to exist on my Home page. I have no need to see recent Activity. But maybe some people do. So the ability to customize would be great.
