Overall Satisfaction with Jira Software

We use Jira Software for an agile methodology. It is used often used for scrum meetings, kanban boards management for daily and sprint tasks, bugs management and analysis.
It provides way to communicate between teams and organizations to track the status and observations of the every bug or task ticket.
We mostly used for development purposes as to plan, to manage and track the development projects.
It widely used in other teams also apart from development team like bug status tracking and software integrations.

Overall, It is the single tool used for most of the important process in the software fields.

  • Kanban board
  • Difficult to use for first time users
  • Lack of demo, It would helpful if they provide info and demo while using
  • Sharing comments in the ticket is kept hidden, it will be unknown and not useful for the most of users
  • Really helpful tool to communicate over teams
  • All the tickets can be easily organized in the kanban board using labels
  • Understanding of the software is not really user friendly

Suited for project and task management features for technical and non-technical users. User interface is very good to use when comparing with other tools. It is really helpful in agile management and team scrums. Tracking the bugs and tasks in ticket is so easy.

Less appropriate in setup and first time use, because it seems difficult to understand the features and tools and setting up for the first time. Also, it is little expensive.
