Overall Satisfaction with Kendo UI
We were basically looking for a text editor with MS word like functionality (Formatting, Copy, Pasting, bullets, indents, Links, etc..) for one of our very key implementations. It's used primarily for a key set of high profile users.
- Basic text editing.
- Basic word style formatting features like paragraphs, lists, images, tables, hyperlinks .
- Documentation is somehow not very useful in specific scenarios.
- Custom features are hard to build and support is not very responsive on missing functionalities.
- Would love to see a "Format Painter" like option in the toolbar.
- ROI was great as per what we initially expected from the product.
- Customers are satisfied with text editing capabilities.
We evaluated textAngular which is open source but found Kendo text editor is much more stable for basic word style formatting scenarios like bullets, lists and numbering.
