Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I frequently need to locate a specific portion of a large article in pdf format. With Kofax Power PDF I can search words related to the issue I'm trying to locate and substantially reduce my work time on the matter.

Kofax Power PDF allows searching effectively.
Kofax Power PDF converts a document to a WORD format allowing a portion to be incorporated into a WORD document and quoted.
Kofax Power PDF provides a way to separate and combine portions of a PDF document.
Kofax Power PDF allows a PDF document to be edited.

Provide a detailed manual available over the internet noting how to carry out many of the more complex features.
Provide email contact for users who have questions that can't be answered with an internet search.
Improve the "Help" feature to cover more user issues.
Enable the editing of more PDF files...regardless of how they are produced.
Provide a way to reduce the size of a pdf file that is too large to attach to some emails.

Return on Investment

As an attorney, my work involves deadlines. Kofax Power PDF has enabled me to meet these deadlines more efficiently, and the reduced time involved has saved my clients money.

Ease-of-Use

Some features of Kofax Power PDF are quite easy to use whereas others have been more difficult for me. I've generally been able to learn how to use the program as needed...but the use of some features has taken some time to figure out.

Alternatives Considered

Nitro Productivity Suite and Adobe Acrobat

I have also used Nitro Pro and Adobe Acrobat. I prefer Kofax Power PDF to both of these programs.

Support Rating

I have generally gotten the support I needed, but it would have been good to have gotten the support a little faster.
