Overall Satisfaction with Kronos Workforce Ready

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I work for a major retailer and we use Kronos Workforce every day for our scheduling, for our workload planning, and vacation scheduling. Our employees especially like the Kronos Workforce app because it allows them to view their schedule, request time off, view hours, and request a swap-shift with other employees.

Cons

Time card corrections need a big overhaul
This takes a member of management a full day to approve each individual time punch correction, one by one by one. Needs a means of mass approval.
Faster updates with new employees.
Group editing should needs to be available

Return on Investment

Overtime warnings would be a great "alarm" feature to have since my company forbids shifts longer than 26 hours per week.
Payroll inflation, we try to schedule 10% under budget to bring our cost down.
Our employees really like that we put the power in their hands with the mobile app, and let them find coverage for a shift that they need covered by having the app send the shift to other employees that are available during that time.

Alternatives Considered

This is the only Kronos that I have any experience with. So I can't say how it stacks up to other programs that could have a match with it.

Industry Expertise

Kronos is a great tool for any employer who has to manage any number of schedule. The mobile aop that comes with it for the employees to be able to view and even offer to swap shifts, or give up a shift to their peers is a great tool that all of my employees utilize on the dailt

Role-based Success

As an executive in my store, i am able to view and edit my associates schedule to where and when i need them. Also the ability to view their time punches and keep track of their time down to the second allows me to avoid overtime when its not approved.

Likelihood to Recommend

Kronos Workforce is a great tool to have at your disposal. If you need to make quick changes to scheduling or check on who can work and who can't, it draws it out for you by showing in multicolored areas, making it easier to understand what you are reading. Although only one user at a time works within your company. If two managers are working on it, if one of them saves, all the work the second just did gets erased.
