Overall Satisfaction with Lifesize Video Conferencing
We are using Lifesize across the company in two different locations in Sweden. We use it for conferencing between different branches in the company and for talks outside the company. Being an education facility we also use it for students using Skype for business to call one of the Lifesize rooms and participating in seminars etc. We are only using the Skype for business client on the PCs. Not the Lifesize client.
- It works great to use the 'Skype for business' client with the Lifesize cloud.
- The sound and video quality of the icon 400,600 is perfect for small conferences but is actually also good enough for seminars in bigger classrooms. Maybe you have to add a microphone.
- The way the Lifesize connects to the cloud is a good way to keep the information secure.
- I find the Icons can be hard to use when connecting the hardware with HDMI splitters. Maybe the videosignal can be more 'standard'.
- Remote/branch offices and connecting with individuals or groups outside of the organization has become easier and more accessible.
- Polycom and Tandberg
Lifesize is much easier to use and to implement. Also the automatic upgrades and the way lifesize comunicates with the cloud I find it more secure and reliable.
