Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

It's not as user friendly for someone who has never used this platform before. I'd definitely recommend that a demo would be helpful in advance. It's not as intuitive.
Lucidchart is being used by the HR team to create company org charts that dive into each department as well as leaders. It's been especially helpful with figuring out which departments needed changes from reporting structures, pod breakouts, retention issues, etc. It's also helped with our onboarding program where new hires are able to view the org chart and understand the business.
  • The best platform I've come across for creating a nice clean visual of an org chart.
  • Import feature from a google spreadsheet to create charts.
  • Ability to play around with the different layout features.
  • More flexibility in editing org charts imported from another document.
  • Way to customize and match the sizing for all pages in a document vs going to each one individually - can be time consuming.
  • Time saving.
  • Improved transparency.
  • Improved decision making.
I have integrated the data I needed in visuals through Google so that was extremely helpful vs creating everything from scratch.
I would say that the initial support from the team to sign up is great however, when I've run into issues with using the platform, it's very hard to get in touch with a representative and the articles haven't always answered my questions. It would be great to see an improvement in daily customer support for any issues/questions that clients have while using the platform.

I would definitely recommend Lucidchart to colleagues as it's a must-have for companies that want to see a visual of their organization and help them with decision making. It's easy to use for a variety of purposes.
