Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark
As an independent consultant, I am testing out Lucidspark for use in facilitating remote brainstorming, strategic planning, and logic modeling exercises with peers and clients. I have used Lucidchart for years and love it. I am excited about having a platform that multiple users can engage with at the same time. At this time, I cannot meet in-person with collaborative groups and clients. This provides an excellent tool to allow me to quickly whiteboard ideas and use virtual sticky notes to capture and move thoughts around.
- It's a clean, easy-to-use collaborative space.
- It's easily downloadable into PDF.
- There are templates to spark ideas for facilitating group sessions.
- You can customize colors and templates to match your needs or for aligning visuals with brand style guides.
- I'm not sure if Lucidspark does this or not, I've only tested it in situations where I am screen sharing and doing all the typing myself. … Would love to be able to send out a Lucidspark link along with my Zoom link to remote participants so they can easily access the Lucidspark board we'll be working on that day. Would love to send people into breakout rooms with an objective to brainstorm something and record it.
- Again, not sure if this is offered or not … I would prefer that clients not have to sign up for an account in order to be able to participate during a group session. You can always ask them to set up a guest account to manipulate the document after the session or give them access for 30 days or something.
- Compared to trying to create a logic model in PowerPoint, Lucidchart is a GODsend. Saves a huge amount of time. The same would be true for a Lucidspark session - same tools, used collaboratively.
- I think it will help increase engagement in remote meeting situations.
Well, I haven't used it with Slack yet, but I adore Slack, so that's fantastic. I have saved charts to Google Drive and I am honestly not 100% clear on the difference between Lucidchart and Lucidspark. I seen Lucidspark as an add-on to Lucidchart. I hope those two stay really intertwined. I don't want to have two different accounts.
Thus far it has been easy to use and I haven't lost work or had it glitch out on me.

Yes
Did implementation of Lucidspark go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Lucidspark again?
Yes
I've mostly used Lucidchart and I see Lucidspark as an extension/add-on to Lucidchart. I've tried using virtual whiteboards via web conferencing tools (Webex, I believe) in other remote work settings and it didn't work very well. I'm hoping this platform is better.
