Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Marketo has been selected for our content marketing activity. The main requirement was to have a tool that could easily communicate with Salesforce, that is our CRM software. All the content marketing activities now go through Marketo (email campaigns, nurturing campaigns, webinars, trade shows, ...) and the Regional Sales Manager can monitor the behavior of their leads and accounts directly on Salesforce. A scoring system has been created too.
- The integration with Salesforce is fantastic: totally transparent and effective. Having the results of marketing campaigns directly in your CRM is what everybody needs!
- Nurturing campaigns are really easy to create and schedule. Every time you add new leads, they automatically go in the program.
- It saves a LOT of time.
- The database is SO easy to use. Once you set the Salesforce integration properly, you can't have issues.
- The email and landing pages editors definitely needs improvement.
- They need more flexibility.
- The use of the templates needs improvement, too.

For all the mentioned scenarios our objectives are mainly two:
1) We need to increase our brand awareness on the market as we are well known in some markets/areas but not in others. 2) We want to be able to qualify our leads in order to increase the effectiveness of our initial calls.
