Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used within our own team and across different departments in process improvement initiatives, project and programme management workshops. Specifically for process mapping, 5 why's stakeholder mapping, etc. Provides a perfect online collaboration space that is easy to use and access at any time.
  • Process Mapping.
  • Mind Mapping.
  • Activity and work planning.
  • Font sizes can be tricky to sort out on post-it notes.
  • Post-it notes are not always easy to drag and drop.
  • Connector lines can be temperamental.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Increased audience participation.
  • Increased engagement.
  • Increased data collection.
No training necessary. Just get on the board and play. It's easy to figure out.
It has broken down barriers to engagement and participation and we have been able to reach people we wouldn't normally be able to connect with because of distance, time, and capacity issues.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
I was a participant so can't comment really as I was involved in the setup but it was similar.
Great for hosting workshops with lots of people attending and you want to capture comments, ideas, and feedback. Also good for using as a planning space as a small team to create work breakdown structures, allocate tasks and timings. Not suited for people who haven't used Miro before as some pre-exposure to the platform if you like is needed, especially in a workshop scenario. People need to be familiar with how to drop and drag, type in or on the board, and also to navigate across the board to different sections. Perhaps a pre-workshop/event guide video would help to send out invites to quickly get people up to speed without overload or having to watch separate guide clips.
