Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

monday.com is supported at the enterprise level, but is found in pockets across the organization. Unlike other project management solutions, it's a silo'd application in most cases. The problem the tool solves is that it is a significantly simpler interface to use than organization-wide project management solutions which is ideal for internal management of projects that don't require cross team collaboration or complicated workflow.

  • Reporting is very basic. Looking forward to the next generation of report widgets.
Ease of use/easy of setup is masterful. Intuitive and if you don't like or need to change earlier setups, it's very flexible/forgiving. This allows one to grow the solution as you mature your project management needs.
My success representative has made themselves available at any time. As well, the recorded content has given me some nice ideas on how to set up dashboards or reports.
The application has been very available. There's really not much to say here. I expect my SaaS to be available at five 9s or at least announce maintenance windows in advance. I haven't experienced any bugs, outages or loss of data.

Well Suited
Internal team project management - In a sense, monday.com is a step up from a task list. That is not a bad thing. Tasks lists are simple...but a bit too simple. Enterprise Project Management solutions are too heavy for tracking the smaller internal projects I need to keep tabs on. It's so easy to use that I quickly add items like a simple "to do," then come back later to enrich them with dates, commitments and such.

I love the supporting comment section that allows me to add notes, comments (updates) or attach files. This enables me to collect lots of different artifacts and put them in one place.

Not Well Suited
The dashboard feature isn't at a place where I can use it at an executive level. It's hard to work with groups of numbers to create summaries or calculations on data -- something I need to do often. I think it will get there, and will anxiously await for updates.
