Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

monday.com is been used by the design department as a project status management tool. It's an easy, visual an intuitive tool to have an overall view of the status of the project, who is doing what, and how working days are been spent on each project. This helps us to transfer these numbers to the management staff.

  • Easy communication with other members of the organization through inside tools
  • A general dashboard with analytics about projects
  • A general dashboard with analytics about employees in order to have incentives for employees
  • Some kind of gamification to encourage the use of the tool
In general, the application seems simple to use considering the use that we give it in our design department. However, I cannot give it more note because there are many functionalities of the application that I have not been able to use and I do not know if they are intuitive or easy to use.
As I am not the administrator of the tool and I am only a user, I have not used technical support on any occasion. I know that our manager has suggested improvements on occasion but I do not know if our opinions have been taken into account. In any case, we have not needed technical support to date and only a specific explanation of the tool, which speaks well of its robustness.
In general, I have not had problems with the performance of the application. Everything works as expected, without interruptions or crashes. At least I don't remember any incident worth commenting on. Response time is fast and everything runs smoothly. I can't say the same for programs like Microsoft Teams which is a constant impediment to work.

I recommend it for an international environment where the time slots do not coincide and you need constant communication about the time dedicated to each project and who is in charge and to be able to communicate with him without depending on video or phone calls.

I cannot conceive of a scenario where such a tool is not useful. Perhaps in very small companies where you do not work on projects.
