Overall Satisfaction with NetBase

We use it to:

  • gauge consumer sentiment on the business and promotions
  • understand consumer opinions on competitors
  • understand trends
  • understand consumer sentiment and intensity on products

We've used NetBase to gather posts on different types of products to understand areas that we should pursue and which do not have a large enough market to pursue.
  • It is really easy to parse the data and look at it in a lot of different ways
  • There are many filters options, making it easy to find the specific data that you want
  • The data is easy to export and generates very user friendly reports
  • It would be great to be able to get Facebook data
Marketing, PR, Public Affairs, Crisis Management
  • It has helped us to find consumer issues and respond to them far more quickly. We are often able to hear about potential customer issues and put together a response plan before it becomes a big issue
  • It has allowed us to gather real time customer feedback on promotions which can be used to make much faster changes to improve
I use the product, but I did not research other similar products. I have not had experience with other programs, but my experience with NetBase has been very good.
Being able to have access to immediate consumer feedback is very valuable. If I have a question about what consumers are thinking, I can look to NetBase and have the answer immediately. This saves so much time and enables me to perform research so much more quickly than before.

The reports that are generated are great as well and can be easily exported and look great for presentations
NetBase is great for getting directional data to help guide decision making. You can quickly get consumer opinions, and can even filter the data to meet your specific needs. This is a great first step in understanding the consumer.
