Overall Satisfaction with nopCommerce
We are currently using nopCommerce for its cart and coupon functionality. It is a very robust and supported platform that saved us from trying to reinvent the wheel. We have some basic needs to offer products and services for sale with the ability to offer specials and coupons. One would think this would be more widely available on the market, but it just isn't, which is why we chose this solution.
- Simple setup and install
- Easy to integrate most merchant services with
- Robust couponing engine
- More community templates would be great.
- Some of the pricing can be a bit tricky, especially configured items... there is a likelihood of mispriced items with the current structure
- We saved a ton of time, effort and cost by utilizing this off the shelf option and not having to build from scratch
- It solved some very specific requirements VERY well
I have used a ton of other website CMS and Shopping carts out there and I think that nopCommerce has a leg up on a lot of them since they are very proactive in their desire to maintain a current structure. As an example, they are one of the first to offer AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), one of the latest standards in mobile first and mobile speed optimizations. This is not only great for the end users from a usability perspective, but awesome for SEO and rankings as well. The developers take pride in their work and are EXTREMELY responsive to questions. I love their team over there.

Yes - Yes, they solve problems immediately or give a timeline on when it may or may not be part of a future release.
I have had numerous experiences with the nopCommerce team where I had issues with importing products that may have been outside of the initial scope of their product offering and they immediately helped me resolve them. I have had issues where I wanted a new feature added and they jumped at the idea of offering something that a user thought was valuable. The team makes themselves available via Slack and other industry platforms, making contacting them super easy. Great Team effort!
