Overall Satisfaction with OneCause

We use OneCause to host our event website and online auction. We sell event tickets through the site, create a website through OneCause to market our event, and then generate revenue through an online auction.

  • Supporting Fundraisers through an Amazing Conference
  • Real Time Online Live Auction
  • Audience interaction through the website in a virtual setting
  • I am able to reach many more donors via our online auction than at an in-person event.
  • Closing out an auction and collecting payment is infinitely easier than running an auction on paper.
  • Guests enter all their own information including credit cards making it very easy to manage the event as a single event director.
As mentioned before, some features, such as adding photos are not very intuitive. Support is slow if you have the DIY-level package, but for a small non-profit this is what we can afford.

OneCause is well suited to host and manage an online auction. Adding photos to the website and additional photos could definitely be easier. At present, you have to host the photos online elsewhere and insert parts of code into other parts of code to get them to load. This could be more user-friendly. As a small non-profit, I would appreciate more proactive assistance at the base price point. I have to do everything DIY so when I have questions it involves a lot of digging through articles. At times I am not clear who I can go to for help (ie who my account rep is versus the sales rep).
