Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Eloqua
We use Eloqua as our B2B email marketing platform. It is integrated into Salesforce, Cvent, and gets regular data feeds from various data stores. We have two instances, one for internal communications and one for internal and external messages and data collection. The reporting engine is also used to better unnderstand our email engagement.
Eloqua is mostly used for forms and emails. It helps use create the top of our lead funnel up to the MQL stage when it is handed off. We also use Eloqua for internal employee communications so we can track our employee engagement. Legal and IT security have approved Eloqua for storing PII in a GDRP complient way.

- The report engine gives a great overview of how we are doing across teams and geo's in a single view
- Eloqua plays well with Salesforce. This is a critical integration and the tools that integrate into SF need to conform to SF's needs.
- The segmentation and campaign design is intuitive and easy to explain to partners.
- Building segment counts on the fly.
- The Wysiwyg email and landing page designer is weak and confusing. We start in Dreamweaver or other Adobe tools and paste the HTML
- I'd like to see links to components within other items. Like link to a form that's on a landing page.
- The data admin side is confusing
- I want more than 255 data fields.
- We are struggling to link ROI to email campaigns. We think it's doing well, but we haven't mastered revenue attribution.
