Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
This is our HRIS platform and we use it for the majority of our HR processes/procedures. It has streamlined the recruiting and onboarding process, moving us from a previous paper-driven environment. In addition, we provide annual Open Enrollment via Paylocity. This has placed the ownership into the hands of the employees and provided them with the convenience of reviewing materials at their leisure from home or anywhere, for that matter.
Pros
- Recruiting platform has all the features and applicant tracking details that I need to make for a smooth process.
- The On-Boarding module has many options and capabilities to assist with getting new hires through the process in a seamless manner.
- Customer service is always available to assist with resolving any issues I have in a timely manner.
Cons
- When in the Time & Labor section and selecting an employee to review their time card, there are often instances that the system gets "stuck" on one employee and will not allow for the selection of another employee. The only way to correct is to log out and back in.
- Better data-driven decision making
- Providing a more consistent process
- Reduction in errors
This allowed me to focus on more critical tasks such as employee development, talent acquisition, and talent retention. In addition, with so many core processes automated, more time to be strategic with managers and owners. Having the ability to help drive business strategy and providing the data (from Paylocity) for decisions to be made is critical.
We have only been using Community for a short time but our employees are happy about the additional communication they are receiving from this tool.
