Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Time and Labor, HR and Payroll, Training, and Performance. I am the company's administrator. Anytime I have problems or questions, I reach out to my service person, who is always helpful.
  • Quick response to questions.
  • Updated state taxes.
  • Keeps us informed of changes/enhancements.
  • Floating holidays and vacation time does not always move over to payroll and to update the balance.
  • Mobile app does not always record punches.
  • Better data-driven decision-making as reports are easy to run, and information is always available.
  • We have reduced training costs but utilizing all the training found in Paylocity.
  • Alerts have kept us up to date on changes in the laws of different states so that we remain compliant.
This freed up HR's time doing administrative work such as payroll and reporting so that we could focus more on other areas of the job.
We have not yet encouraged employees to use Impressions.
We originally chose Paylocity because of the ADA reporting requirements that Paychex did not offer at the time.

Overall, the system works well, but it still has some glitches. I have to try the new pay entry system, but I hope it makes processing payroll easier.
