Procore improves productivity in the Subcontractor world
Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We are using it as our main Project Management platform. We manage all of our submittals, drawings, project documentation, document storage, time-keeping and cost coding, photos, and other items. It helps us to maintain current construction documentation, which has become a challenge in this ever faster-moving industry where changes are happening all the time, it enables our field to have the most updated information at their hands.
Pros
- RFI and Submittal Modules help us manage all the work flow.
- Drawing Updates are very easy to roll out to our entire team.
- Photos and Project Documentation are instantly available to the entire team.
Cons
- Timesheet tool entry - issues with duplicate users and data entry.
- Having project info from one company's Procore communicate with another company's Procore is an issue (we have many of our clients who use it too).
- There is no auto alert when a software update comes out.
- It's enabled us to save time and money by trusting we're all operating from the most current drawings - hard to pin a cost to that.
- Saved efficiency of having all the project documentation at our fingertips - contracts, submittals, pay apps, everything, no matter where you are.
We envision linking our Financial software to Procore and add the Financial Module in 2020. We have just changed accounting software and needed some time to get acclimated before we merged the data. We have integrated our timekeeping and accounting related to job costing of our personnel time by use of exported macros from Procore.
Vast improvement. Its easy-to-use module on the iPad app is great, and our whole team has it instantly. We input photos, issues, timekeeping, and other daily data with ease.
