Made Financial Reporting Efficient!

Currently we are using Prophix in the accounting department for financial reporting and to push out revenue reports to the P&C and Employee Benefits departments. Prophix has taken an extremely manual month end close and financial reporting process and made it very streamlined. Ad Hoc reports and office level financials can now be prepared with the click of a few buttons instead of a manual preparation. Statements are also updated on a real time basis, whereas before you had to be concerned that one report had the "good" numbers and 10 other reports had to be updated for one change made. We are in the process of setting up dashboards for regional and office management in order to push out real time financial and revenue information to management for better decision making.

Our ERP system is built on a very old database platform and Prophix was able to connect and get us the data we needed. We will be looking at adding connections to other systems in the future.

Private cloud would be best so that it could be accessed off-site, however security is important. Would like for office and regional managers to be able to access data on devices such as ipads and other devices when out of the office. This may be available, we just have not explored it in depth yet.
