Overall Satisfaction with Prophix
I use Prophix for monthly, quarterly, and annual expense planning and reporting. Prophix allows cost center owners at my company to put together their budgets and review actual expenses as compared to budgeted expenses throughout the year and during budgeting season. My team utilizes this tool on a daily basis.
- Customizability - easy to put together reports for needed uses.
- Ease of use - so many people use this at my company and learn quickly.
- Seamless integration with G/L - do not experience many issues loading G/L data into Prophix.

- Streamlined budgeting and planning.
- Faster month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- Ability to have real-time knowledge of expenses.
Prophix has significantly helped with this as we have essentially moved all Excel-based budgeting and planning processes to Prophix. There are some supporting spreadsheets that we still use Excel for and then enter the data manually into Prophix, but there as been no need to fill out budget templates in Excel as everyone can just fill out their templates within Prophix.
