Qlik Sense Enterprise

Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Sense

Management, executives, and sales people primarily use Qlik Sense to make decisions. Managers pull information out and distribute it to their teams while they also use it to analyse their team members' productivity. All users analyze customer performance and track revenue. Accounting uses it to locate transactions quickly and efficiently.
  • Technician productivity reporting - using dashboards to track KPIs and performance metrics like first time fix, billable time spent on jobs and contracts.
  • Equipment analytics - using dashboards and tables to see what types of equipment we work on the most and track what parts are needed the most to keep work trucks properly stocked.
  • Financial statistics and at-a-glance daily reports for managers to post for their branches. This is used heavily by everyone in the company to track monthly performance and rewards to given to those who do well.
  • Field names are case sensitive - I find this to be an unnecessary nuisance.
  • No real date range picker to speak of. There is a third party add on that barely works. Sometimes performance reviews really need a date range instead of selecting whole months or worse - hand selecting 365 dates.
  • Limited to no visual customization. Some of our older users never use Qlik Sense because it is difficult to see.
  • I believe it to be beneficial, but I don't have a specific analysis or way to track our ROI.
  • We recently added a marketing manager to our staff and I hope that I she will able to use the software in a more tangible capacity and help with determining a financial impact or benefit from using Qlik Sense.
Microsoft Power BI. From what I have done with Power BI, I like it and it is on par with Qlik Sense. I continue to monitor these two software packages to make sure that our organization does not fall behind. So far, they continue to advance equally.
Qlik Sense is excellent at delivering on-demand information to a wide variety of users. Once I had a good arsenal of apps developed, I didn't have a lot of development that I had to do on a daily basis because with any combination of fancy filtering, most users are able to locate the information they need without too much assistance.

I would like to be able to provide more users with unique logins, but the licensing is very expensive. I also don't like that we have to purchase five tokens every time we want to augment our users. This makes each purchase a huge decision and it takes a long time to consider and build into our budget.
