Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions

All staff use QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions for the most part to meet the needs of our clients. Many of our clients use this software in their businesses and the fact that we can use this product and help them with any issues that come up enhances our service to them. QuickBooks is user friendly and caters to different business modules and therefore works with many of our clients' businesses.

Pros

  • Ease of use for beginners and advanced users.
  • Ability to file payroll reports and pay payroll checks through the software, which eliminates paying a payroll company.
  • Use of accounts receivable to track money owed to the company and prepare accounts receivable invoices.

Cons

  • Sometimes it is too easy to enter information in a prior year and our clients will go back and enter checks in the wrong year by accident.
  • When a check is voided, it voids the check in the year the check was written, which changes the amounts in the prior year.
  • Sometimes the accounts receivable module is a little difficult for users to understand.
  • We are able to look at client records on our computers for the detail and make adjustments as necessary.
  • We can make adjustments and give them to client to integrate back into their software without entering the journal entries.
  • We can enter information and print reports for client data that summarizes the data into succinct reports and detail that is easy to look at and understand and change if needed, so efficiency and comprehension is improved.
Many clients already use QuickBooks so they send us their QuickBooks information. Therefore, we need the QuickBooks software to be able to open their files. We also may use it to enter client data to summarize information in a succinct manner to be able to see the detail of client information.
Sometimes it may depend on the size of the company or the type of business. If the company is very large, sometimes QuickBooks may not be the right fit. Or if there are certain procedures the company needs to do, QuickBooks may not be able to perform very complicated tasks and these need to be asked of the client.
