Ramp was everything promised and more.
Overall Satisfaction with Ramp
Our accountant recommended Ramp as a solution to the problems we were having with receipt compliance, lack of visibility, and more. We switched from Expensify to Ramp almost a year ago now. Our team has rapidly adapted to Ramp and compliance has grown drastically. It's very easy to issue cards to employees. We had one employee who had her card stolen. One-click locked the card, which is a great feature. We created a temporary card for an intern to use in the parking garage. The card would only work to pay for parking in that garage, and for a limited amount of money. This made it very simple to provide the intern with a card but not have to worry that it would be misused. The ease of use is refreshing. Ramp sends texts and/or emails after a purchase is made. We can set trigger alerts on big spending. We can automate repeat expenses, which is a real-time saver. One feature I'm looking forward to using is setting other managers to oversee their teams' spending. We are not quite there yet, but the feature on Ramp will make that shift smooth. Overall, we are very happy with Ramp.
Pros
- Reminders to upload receipts
- Ease of adding/removing cards
- Subscription cards
- Visibility of expenses in real time
Cons
- Better categorization of some vendors, or the ability to update them manually
- Better assistance with charge disputes
- Reminders to upload receipts
- Ease of use
- Simplicity of adding/removing cards
- Our previous credit card offered 3% cashback, but the difference in ease of use more than justifies taking the lower cashback percentage.
- Ramp is a massive timesaver for our team, and time is money.
