Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it in IT department mostly to do the Test Automation of the REST APIs.

Pros and Cons

Easy to write REST requests
Easy to get values from the responses between multiple test steps
Easy to copy existing test cases

It is really hard to merge the changes of two different developers

Return on Investment

By automating our APIs, our regression testing is super fast compared to former manual tests.
By having the whole API test automated, we managed to spot the bugs before production deployment.

I didn't have much experience with automation in Postman, but ReadyAPI seems more robust and in my opinion is able to cover many use cases. For me it was also easier to write the tests in SoapUI as many times it is matter of clicking and copying existing things.
