Overall Satisfaction with Recurly

Recurly is part of our billing software and subscription management service. Finance and Support use the application as well as Sales. This software provides a solution to the problem of quick and easy billing for a subscription-based service. It also helps provide visibility across teams for when clients require an in-depth view of their billing.
  • Quick and easy to set up
  • Simple for the end user
  • Navigation on the back end makes sense and is clean
  • They could offer a lot more customization
  • If you dont fit their one specific use case its hard to mold the process flow
  • Some areas of the software seem redundant
  • End-user visibility is not as good as it could be, clients want a level of detail that's not easy out of the box
  • Good for multiple teams to see the same data
  • Although you can see you cannot collaborate. Notes or atypical billing instances are hard to accommodate
Ease of use but also its what was here when I got here. I think they are the easiest quickest choice in our market but I honestly do not have a lot of experience with their competitors. I think they are a decent choice but its possible better choices exist- but if they fit your budget and your needs are very similar for each deal they make sense.
Well suited for SMB or mid-market clients. Anyone with a subscription-based product would find this is an effective tool to use. Specifically, a good starting product and you can add layers of complication as needed, but it offers a solid starting program for your business needs from day one.
