Overall Satisfaction with Referral Rock

We are using Referral Rock to manage our first ever referral program for our SaaS business, Syncro. It has worked flawlessly for us thus far. After comparing it to many other referral program management solutions via reviews, Googling, demos, etc. we landed on Referral Rock even though it was more pricey than the other solutions. Totally worth the money for the features you get + the fact that the platform is just so much more mature than the other options out there.
  • Automation (one click access link with our email marketing software, payouts, etc.).
  • Reporting (their dashboard and logs are SUPER detailed).
  • Onboarding (we have a dedicated account rep who's great via email and video calls).
  • Just a few minor missing features that I have been told are on the roadmap. Certainly not blockers.
  • Gift card payouts that work internationally, even if the currency selected is specific to a certain country (i.e. a $100 USD gift card payout amount should still result in the ability for the recipient to choose a gift card worth $100 USD, but available in their home country. Right now we are limited to only those gift cards available within the payout currency country).
  • Too soon to tell at this point, but things look promising!
I'm not in the business of badmouthing competition, but I can say that no other platform I researched (7 total probably?) handled SaaS referral program management at all. Referral Rock was the only true option and that's simply due to the maturity of the platform and features. I didn't feel like I was being sold an "ecommerce" focused platform that could be set up for SaaS, I felt like I was discovering a solution that was actually built with SaaS referral program management in mind. I will also say that Referral Rock is a larger company, with more resources than any of the competitors I checked out. The dedicated account rep is really what did it for us, because we were trying to launch within 2 weeks of signing up. What was amazing is that we actually could have done that! That's how quick their team was to get us up and running and frankly give us the attention we needed. The issue for not launching on time was on our end. The team is also more professional and knowledgeable than the other teams we did a demo with. They actually give advice, best practices, etc. Super helpful!

It works really well for SaaS referral programs, can't speak to ecommerce and such.
