Overall Satisfaction with RStudio
We do use across the whole company in both serving apps and reports that are available to and from wet lab colleagues and directors.
- Keeping things simple and tidy.
- Integration of different languages (R, Pytho, Bash, SQL).
- Testing code directly in the same IDE.
- Shiny apps deployment to RStudio connect may be tricky with repositories that are not CRAN (e.g. Bioconductor).
- High, we gave up the most of the SW that we used once RStudio suite came in.
Rodeo, jupyter and other editors RStudio like for both R and Python are simply not at the level of RStudio and they do not provide the same range of features that comes with it.
