Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use Intacct for accounting. It has made us more efficient in all aspects of accounts payable and accounting. It was also one of the last systems to move to the cloud so it has helped IT to reduce its cost.
- It has made the payment process much quicker and allow us to outsource the check writing and ACH process to Wells Farog. In addition we now use Expensify, which interfaces with Intacct for employee expense reporting that has cut down the accounts payable work load and been easier for the employees
- The consolidation and foreign currency module has made the closing process much better. We now track currency gains and losses and a monthly bases.
- The smart rules have cut down coding errors by 90% by keeping a project and department coding correct at all times
- I like the true cloud system that does update quarterly instead of having to do major upgrades every two or three years
- We have to do allocation manually in spreadsheets for project revenue and expense. The allocation and prepaid system take to long on the front end for the benefit on the back end.
- You have to change the date on entries and reports to often. It would be nice if you could set a date in one place when you are working a month end close
- Allowed us to move to being a total cloud company. If you do not move all system to the cloud you do not get the full benefit of reduce hardware and employee time savings
- Has allowed for far better reporting to our managers done much more quickly
- Cut the time spent on accounts payable by one third
This screen will not pull up Net Suite or MS Dynamics SL. Net Suite was to expensive costing almost 2 times as much. Dynamices SL was our previous system but their effort for the cloud was just hosting not a true cloud
