Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
In my current organization, Sage Intacct is being used to primarily by the finance department but is also being used by our federal grants department to aid in balance tracking.
- Tracking of entries and a solid audit trail management, critical to us as we expand usage, is excellent on this platform.
- With enhancements to the report writer, the system has become much more intuitive and easier to program. As such, the report writing while not perfect is much better that on many financial platforms and its built in.
- The thing that I most appreciate about Sage Intacct is that they don't think they do everything well so they have worked to create a pool of great partners and products that efficiently integrate with Intacct to address key business processes like reimbursement management and budgeting that are reasonable priced and fully transition failure proof. This means the hard work has already been done for you.
- The report writing, while better, does still have room for improvement.
- Customer support is inconsistent. When you get a good representative, it is like magic how they show you new and better ways to make the system work for you. However, when you don't, solutions are hard to come by and even difficult to get the rep to understand to get you the business solution you need.
- I really don't have a third but I would suggest that we have better communication on when enhancements are made to the system. I feel like I miss the new stuff that I could be using but am unaware are now available.
- There are definitely operating efficiencies that translate into real dollar savings for our organization.
- The system has allowed us to right size our staff for our organizations needs.
- With the enhancements in reporting, we have improved our reporting to the board and staff managers and use the automatic reporting religiously. It is a real life saver from a time management standpoint and impresses our staff because reports show up as expected on a schedule automatically in their inbox.
As previously stated our organization benefits tremendously from the time savings and efficiency of automation.
Its been a while since I have done any other evaluation so I can't remember.
