Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

It is being used within our accounting and finance department for financial reporting and analysis.

Pros

  • Custom reports are easy to write
  • User-friendly
  • Segregation of duties is easy

Cons

  • Slow responsiveness
  • If multiple people run reports the system slows down
  • Rigid financial report writer
  • Allowed for an upgrade in accounting software
  • Loss of time due to errors in releases and slow response time
  • Lack of technical QA testing prior to release 1 2018 that caused our company loss of productivity for over a month
We have not been able to utilize the automation fully. The only thing we have been able to use it for is one bank reconciliation.
It is less appropriate when multiple people need to run large reports at the same time. The bandwidth becomes congested and slows drastically.
