Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our accounting team uses Sage Intacct, mainly to consolidate our subsidiaries into one balance sheet/P&L under the parent company.

Pros and Cons

Consolidating financial statements.
Accounts payable.
Dashboards.
Customizing financial statements.

The inventory function does not work.
Sales invoices are affected by the inventory function (which does not work).

Return on Investment

It is too soon to tell as we went live last month. We are excited for the time and cost savings this will bring with the future growth potential of our company.

Sage Intacct Automation

Consolidating financial statements has been nice, as Quickbooks was not able to perform this function.

Sage Intacct Extensibility

We currently use multi-currency, and it works well for our needs. We pay invoices in 15 different currencies and Intacct has built-in daily fx rates, so it all translates back to USD in our system.

The customer rep who helped us implement was knowledgeable about accounting and helped us with whatever questions we had. We effectively merged four companies into one during the integration (combining four COAs into one, etc) and he was a big help in this process.

Alternatives Considered

We have not used any comparable products, as we moved from QuickBooks online to Sage Intacct.

Likelihood to Recommend

The more entities the merrier. Good for family offices or companies that have multiple levels of reporting requirements.
