Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

It is currently being utilized by the Business Office to pay vendors. This addresses the ability not to have to wait to have checks signed. Once the request is approved, all I have to do is run the check and the signatures are already there. This eliminates the wait time for the approvers to manually sign our checks.
  • Includes signatures on checks instead of getting them manually signed
  • Issues the 1099's to vendors, versus the old way of doing them manually
  • Ability to access it anywhere, instead of just a work
  • Not all screens are user-friendly and it would be nice if keywords were less complicated and more simplified to help find the answer easier.
  • Knowing what keywords to place into the help section instead of searching around and wasting time.
  • Debits are actually credits and vice versa. I would like to see the credit as credit and debit as a debit like in most accounting systems.
  • A lot easier for the check signing process
  • Taking the time to scan invoices to upload to the system is a lot
  • I do not have the ability to delete if something is entered in error
  • Having a hard time with the help function and knowing what the keywords are for help.
I have benefited from the new system. It does save me a lot of time obtaining signatures for my checks from the vendors. I do not particularly like the help section. If you do not know what the keywords are to put in for help, it comes up with nothing. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out the screens. Some are user-friendly and others are not.
We have a 3rd party vendor that setup the system for us.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Our system became outdated. We chose Sage Intacct because our accounting department was already using it and loved it. So we in turn, use it now. It is a lot more user friendly and seems to work well with paying our vendors. I specifically like the easy access to the system. Before, I could not remote in from home, and now I can.
Having a hard time with the debits and credits. It is not how the accounting world uses them, which is how I have been trained. The Sage Intacct program is reversed. For the most part, I find it very easy to use, and I like the ability to access it from anywhere, especially now that we are sometimes working from home.
