An honest review

We went through a third party vendor and had limitations with what could be updated or changed.

I think the PO process is great; however, I am not a fan of the conversion process. In our situation you create the PO Request, it goes through the approval process and then when the item is received you have to convert it, then it goes to accounting where they can upload documents and convert it again and .... it's too many steps. Ideally, Step 1, Submit PO Request and once approved ... 2. Receive item 3. Accounting Tech attaches invoice to Sage Record and processes it.

I also wish the Serial Number / Lot Tracking was better laid out. If I order 20 cases of an item, I want to enter in 1 lot number and then indicate how many cases I have of that particular Lot Number vs. entering the same lot number 20 different times. That seems a bit haphazard because you create an environment that could cause numbers to be transposed and the system wouldn't know to flag it as being wrong because it's relient on the end user to enter the information.

It would also be nice to have a monthly report of expiring lot numbers so when you dispose of them, you can say why you're disposing of them.
