Overall Satisfaction with SAP Fieldglass

We use SAP Fieldglass to manage all of our contingent workforces. The business problems that Fieldglass addresses are eliminating the use of manual invoices and bulk hiring for our factories and warehouse and allowing real-time data tracking for our supply chain.
  • Spend management; I love that Fieldglass provides not only my team but the hiring managers with the current total spend for a worker upfront.
  • Keeping track of all of our contractors in one place.
  • It is user friendly, it is easy for all of my stakeholders to navigate.
  • Server issues, any time there is a server overload, our instance of Fieldglass completely shuts down, sometimes for hours, sometimes for days.
  • The mobile app isn't very functional for hiring managers.
  • There is a lot of difficulty integrating Fieldglass with other non SAP products.
  • Greater workforce visibility for our Supply Chain unit allows them to see our full-time vs. contingent worker head counts.
  • Increased efficiency with contractor onboarding; it is all done through the tool, whether it's for 1 day or 1 year.
We have Fieldglass integrated with other software (Workforce for timekeeping, HCM for our buyer/user downloads). However, any time there is a scheduled release or a "hotfix," there something breaks within one of our integrations, and then it takes weeks to fix and get things back on track. It doesn't make for a great user experience from the hiring manager's side.
We always tell our stakeholders that they cannot break Fieldglass; it is super user-friendly.

Do you think SAP Fieldglass delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with SAP Fieldglass's feature set?

Yes

Did SAP Fieldglass live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of SAP Fieldglass go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy SAP Fieldglass again?

Yes

I like the basic functionality of Fieldglass, but I know there's more. I want to be able to use Fieldglass to its full ability, but we are having a hard time getting someone technical (not sales) to sit down with us and do a complete rundown of what we have and what is available, and what we should be using to optimize our Fieldglass experience.
