Overall Satisfaction with Schoology Learning, a PowerSchool Unified Classroom product
Our whole organization is driven by Schoology Learning, a PowerSchool Unified Classroom. All interdepartmental communication is conducted through Schoology Learning, a PowerSchool Unified Classroom, as well as the bulk of instruction for this hybrid school year. When it comes to addressing business problems, at this point it seems that Schoology Learning, a PowerSchool Unified Classroom is our business. We as teachers spend five to six hours a day using it, as do our students.
- Organization of instructional materials
- Streamlines the process of creating lessons
- Easily allows teachers to integrate programs such as NearPod, Google Sheets, etc.
- We have had several instances this year where the program crashed district wide. Possibly due to overload?
- Some programs, like Kami, do not work as smoothly as they should within the program.
- The training is intensive for the program. There has to be a way to make it easier for kids to use.
- We consistently have over 90% online weekly engagement for our school.
- Students are doing the work, though there were lots of issues in the beginning when it came to navigating the program.
- One negative impact was that the training we were given (not Schoology's fault) did not address how to personalize our pages and make them more engaging. The pages are quite sterile and boring at baseline.
I had no choice when it came to selecting the program, but I will say that Schoology Learning, a PowerSchool Unified Classroom presents the content way more clearly than Google Classroom. Schoology Learning, a PowerSchool Unified Classroom takes way fewer clicks to go where you need to go. Google Classroom is a tad more user friendly as far as getting started goes, but Schoology Learning, a PowerSchool Unified Classroom is, without a doubt, a way more refined program.
