Overall Satisfaction with Sigma Computing
- We use it a lot to share spreadsheet-like data with "power users" - Use it to distribute hourly, daily metrics through Slack based on workbooks built in Sigma Computing- Use it to create dashboards to distribute analytics tools with business users for their own analysis and data exploration - It's starting to be an alternative to Tableau for analytics tools since it can run custom SQL in the existing connections.
- Easy visualization creation
- Customizable charts
- Relationships between dataset fields
- Cross database datasets
- Filtering using the charts (Like Actions in Tableau)
- Usage of containers within Workbooks / Dashboards to organize content
- Improved self-service for business users
- Improved work times for analysts sharing information through Slack
- Improved distribution of content for viewers and easy exploration
Do you think Sigma Computing delivers good value for the price?
Yes

Yes
Did Sigma Computing live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Sigma Computing go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Sigma Computing again?
Yes
It has helped business users get access to their data to perform custom analysis instead of going to analytics team to perform those custom analysis and over loading our servers with custom reports for a one time analysis. Also, sharing of content is much easier and controlled, instead of managing a whole analytics hub. Content can be easily distributed to stakeholders.
It's easier to read, and very purpose driven. In the sense that there's no overkill when analyzing data, and underlying data can easily be accessed for manipulation
Sigma Computing is more user friendly. And easier to access for analysts.
