Overall Satisfaction with Slack
At this time Slack is being used within our department. Since Covid-19's changes, we have been working remotely for the last 3 months and Slack has helped us stay connected throughout the day. It's easier to quickly get a question out to the team and discuss in real time, rather than awaiting emails or getting everyone on a different platform. We love it!
- Easy to use.
- Free.
- Great for large groups.
- Not the prettiest app to look at, looks a bit old school.
- Inability to block users.
- It's helped keep communication between our team.
- Google Hangouts (Classic)
Although very similar, Slack seems to be more geared toward professional chats than Google Hangouts.
